The old quarter of the town, situated on the Nessebar peninsula and linked to the mainland by a narrow isthmus, is a meeting place of bygone times. This walking tour offers the visitors of Nessebar the chance to get some insight of a Bulgarian city, ancient part of which is placed on a peninsula. Nessebar’s first settlements are dated II centuries B.C.
