The Monastery of St. George in Pomorie is a charming peaceful place, established far back in the 7th century. Nowadays it is an active orthodox monastery with monks in residence.
The main attraction of the complex is the bell tower with the holy water. It is believed that the water is curative since it cured the first Abbot of the monastery.

12:00 Arrival in Sozopol - one of the oldest Greek colonies on the black sea coast, founded under the name Apolonia in the 6th century B.C. Guided tour around the old town.
