10:30 - Arrival in Kazanluk.
Visitors are guided to the Museum of Roses, a unique institution dedicated to the cultivation and production of rose oil in Bulgaria. This museum boasts an extensive collection of over 15,000 items, including artifacts, photographs, and documents that chronicle the history of rose harvesting and processing across the country. Among its exhibits are tools used in rose cultivation, containers for storing and exporting rose oil and rose water, and a reconstruction of the first laboratory established in 1912 to analyze rose oil purity.
In addition to its historical exhibits, the museum offers a variety of rose-based products for purchase, including rose oil, cosmetics, rose liqueur, and rose brandy. Visitors also have the opportunity to sample traditional treats such as Turkish delight, rose liqueur, and rose petal jam, immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Bulgaria's rose industry.
12:30 - Lunch. A visit to the Memorial Church in the village of Shipka. Picturesque drive via Shipka Pass and the monument at the Mount of Stoletov.
15:00 - Continue to Etara – an open-air ethnographic museum where you can see houses and crafts from the time of the Bulgarian Revival.
16:00 Arrival in the town of Veliko Turnovo. It is located amphitheatrically at the foot of the Fore-Balkan Mountains. Thanks to its rich cultural and historical heritage, the town is an important tourist center. It used to be the capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom.
17:30 - Departure for Sunny Beach. Late evening return.
